CIPHER - Project Exploitation Plan

Here we outline some of the exploitation activities resulting from the CIPHER project. This report is also available for downloading as a pdf document. The exploitation of the project results can be divided into three periods:

1. Trial applications

These are applications developed during the project in accordance with the Description of Work. They are operational and used by project partners and content providers who also often assisted in the application development. Project partners are committed to support and maintain these applications in the future.

2. Immediate follow-on applications

This period refers to the work started at the closing stages of the project or immediately after the end of the project.

3. Medium-term exploitation

Here we describe the applications which are expected to start at least three months after the end of the project and have been motivated and inspired by dissemination activities during the last 6 months of the project.

Although the CIPHER project ended in 30 September 2004, the CIPHER consortium still closely collaborates and seeks funding for future joint activities. Some of these are described here in the follow-on applications and medium-term exploitation plans.
