Cultural Heritage Forums

1. Irish Cultural and Natural Heritage

This forum will comprise a large number of heritage institutions having wide ranging collections, around the overall forum theme. Content will include archaeological data relating primarily to Ireland but also other regions, plus Irish heritage stemming from additional forum members, including libraries, galleries, film archives and musical heritage.

2. Nordic Heritage Through Storytelling and Historical Artefacts

Core forum content will focus on the tradition of storytelling to reflect and convey Nordic culture, and important historical artefacts such as maps and texts. The forum will represent a region spanning many countries with particular need for multilingual support. Investigation of Nordic storytelling will inform our narrative-supported approach to heritage investigation.

3. Shared Heritage of Central Europe

This forum will explore the long common history of the Southern Bohemia and Upper Austria regions. Forum content will include collections from castles and museums. Mobile devices will support the activities of visitors to the region and curators. The forum will support the work of the regional heritage care organisation, as well as libraries, local communities and tourism.

4. The Tradition of Technological Innovation in South Central England

This area has a distinguished history in technology innovation, including the development of computing and engineering technologies, and still remains a locus of innovation. The forum will allow exploration of these important events up to modern times, including research into the nature of scientific discovery.
